Our Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Dissertation Helpers ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "Customer," or "you") and Dissertation Helpers.

By accessing our website, creating an account, or commissioning any academic assistance or consulting service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the provisions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue the use of our services immediately.

1. Nature of the Service & Agency Relationship

  • 1.1 Intermediary Capacity: Dissertation Helpers operates as an independent service agency. We connect clients with qualified independent contractors, subject-matter consultants, and academic researchers ("Specialists") to fulfill specific research, drafting, and editorial requests.

  • 1.2 Scope of Responsibility: We ensure that commissioned projects are fulfilled in accordance with the specifications, academic guidelines, and milestone dates submitted via our order management platform.

  • 1.3 Right of Refusal: If an appropriate Specialist is unavailable for a given academic field, complexity level, or timeframe, we reserve the right to decline the engagement. In such instances, we will refund any fees charged in full immediately.

2. Order Placement, Verification, and Billing

  • 2.1 Accuracy of Client Information: You agree to supply valid, complete, and current contact details (including legal name, phone number, and primary email address) during checkout. Failure to provide accurate details constitutes grounds for an immediate pause on project timelines until identity and submission parameters are validated.

  • 2.2 Specification and Resource Submission: Clients must upload all mandatory instructions, assignment rubrics, source files, and referencing preferences when commissioning an order.

  • 2.3 Access Credentials & Portal Security: If virtual learning environments (VLE), institutional libraries, or portal credentials are provided to retrieve research materials, such access is restricted entirely to our secure, sandboxed virtual environments managed by internal administrators. Direct login credentials are never disclosed or transferred to freelance Specialists.

  • 2.4 Payment Terms: Full payment is standardly due upon order submission. Split-payment plans (a 50% deposit upon project initiation, with the remaining 50% due prior to final draft release) may be authorised by customer support for qualified orders, provided both milestone dates fall within the project lifecycle.

  • 2.5 Quality Assurance Archiving: Clients consent to our limited use of anonymised, non-identifiable project excerpts (strictly under one page or limited to an abstract) for internal auditor reviews, stylistic benchmarking, and sample verification.

3. Delivery Protocols and Milestone Scheduling

  • 3.1 Continuous Operational Schedule: We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Delivery deadlines include weekends, bank holidays, and statutory holidays. Deliverables are uploaded directly to your client portal account and forwarded to your registered email address.

  • 3.2 External Delays & Technical Failures: We bear no liability for missed deadlines resulting from late file uploads by the client, ISP-level outages, or restrictive client email firewall/spam filters. Clients are responsible for checking spam folders and downloading materials promptly.

  • 3.3 Progressive Delivery (Milestone Tracking): For large-scale projects exceeding $600 in value and a turnaround of 7 days or more, projects are partitioned into sequential milestone deliveries:

    • Review Windows: Clients receive each chapter or section iteratively and must submit feedback or formal approval within 24 to 72 hours.

    • Automatic Timeline Adjustment: Failure to approve or submit revisions within the allocated window automatically extends the final project deadline by the duration of the delay.

    • Milestone Acceptance: Approving an interim module locks that milestone as formally accepted, authorising work on subsequent sections and rendering the accepted section ineligible for retroactive refund claims.

4. Specialist Allocation & Portfolio Samples

  • 4.1 Portfolio Previews: Clients may request a three-page, randomised historical work sample of their allocated Specialist for an administrative fee of $5.00.

  • 4.2 Reallocation Requests: You may review the provided sample and request an alternative Specialist within two (2) hours of assignment. Specialist reassignments are permitted up to three (3) times per project without additional administrative charges.

5. Revision Policy

  • 5.1 Complimentary Revision Period: We offer unlimited complimentary revisions for up to fifteen (15) calendar days following initial project delivery, provided that the requested revisions align strictly with the original project parameters.

  • 5.2 Operational Turnaround for Changes: Revision turnaround times vary between 24 hours and 4 business days depending on structural scope. Clients must select initial project deadlines with adequate buffer time to accommodate potential review cycles.

  • 5.3 Scope Adjustments & Late Requests: Revision requests initiated after the 15-day complimentary window, as well as changes that introduce new sources, altered thesis frameworks, or additional word counts not present in the original order brief, will incur supplementary fees calculated at standard per-page rates.

6. Cancellations, Disputes, and Refund Framework

All formal refund requests and contractual claims must be filed via our customer dispute desk and are adjudicated within fourteen (14) business days.

  • Duplicate Transactions: If a gateway malfunction, browser double-click, or redundant payment error occurs, we issue a full 100% refund of the accidental extra charge immediately.

  • Pre-Allocation Cancellations: If an order is canceled in writing before a Specialist has been assigned to the brief, the client receives an 80% refund (a 20% administrative handling fee is retained).

  • Mid-Project Cancellations: Once a Specialist has commenced work or issued an interim draft, cancellation yields a partial pro-rata refund of up to 50%, strictly proportional to documented hours and research invested up to that point.

  • Rush Orders Exemption: Due to immediate allocation of internal resources, orders placed with a turnaround window of 24 to 48 hours are strictly non-refundable and cannot be canceled once initiated.

  • Plagiarism Disputes: A 100% refund is issued if verified non-original matching text exceeds 30% of total word count. All originality claims must be substantiated with an official Turnitin similarity report; unverified third-party software scans are ineligible.

  • Unresolved Quality Deficiencies: If a deliverable fails to adhere to the supplied brief after a minimum of three (3) revision rounds, we may authorise a discretionary partial refund of 30% to 40% upon submission of itemised critique evidence.

  • Automated Acceptance Closure: If a client fails to request a revision or lodge a dispute ticket within 14 calendar days of final draft upload, the project is finalised automatically by our system, extinguishing all future refund eligibility.

  • Publication Rights on Full Refunds: If an order receives a 100% refund, the Company reserves all rights to index, publish, and host the discarded draft content online across academic repositories to protect our intellectual property against subsequent unauthorised submission.

7. Chargeback Policy and Dispute Mediation

  • 7.1 Mandatory Internal Escalation: Clients agree to exhaust all internal grievance and Dispute Resolution protocols before initiating an external merchant dispute, payment reversal, or chargeback with a financial institution.

  • 7.2 Ten-Day Remediation Period: Our Quality Assurance team must be granted ten (10) business days from receipt of a formal written complaint to investigate the audit logs, evaluate claims, and issue a commercial settlement.

  • 7.3 Contractual Breach: Bypassing our internal dispute procedures and filing an unauthorised chargeback constitutes a material breach of this agreement, resulting in immediate suspension of services, permanent account closure, and potential collection proceedings for administrative recovery fees.

8. Academic Fair-Use Disclaimer

Important Notice: All written materials, research outlines, bibliographies, datasets, and structural samples provided by Dissertation Helpers are sold exclusively as academic models, research benchmarks, and study aids.

Our deliverables are not intended for unedited academic submission, direct course fulfillment, or misrepresentation as a student’s own primary work. Clients are solely responsible for citing, referencing, and applying our source materials in strict accordance with their educational institution's academic integrity regulations and institutional codes of conduct.
